Anubis Group fête ses 25 ans
Juillet 1995, la société Anubis voyait le jour à Sevran en région parisienne, le concept d’assistance funéraire était l’action à mener pour être prêt lorsque le marché le serait.
Pourquoi Sevran, le lieu n’avait pas d’importance puisque l’activité devait se gérer virtuellement. Pourquoi le nom Anubis, Dieu du funéraire chargé entre autre de transporter l’âme des défunts dans un autre monde, c’était prédestiné ! Pourquoi l’assistance funéraire, pour venir en aide aux familles touchées par le décès d’un proche loin de chez eux, en France ou à l’étranger. Pourquoi le rapatriement de corps, pour garantir une logistique spécifique quel que soit le lieu d’intervention et de destination.
Aujourd’hui, après 25 ans, de très nombreuses étapes ont été franchies, Anubis est présent et représenté dans de nombreux pays.
Une cinquantaine de collaborateurs d’origines d’une quinzaine de pays, des milliers de prestataires pour des milliers de cas gérés, chacun avec ses particularités, en soutien permanent des proches de toutes nationalités, de toutes confessions, de tout horizon. Comment ne pas être fier du chemin parcouru sur cette route créée de toute pièce, consolidée par chaque collaborateur, chaque manager, ancien ou actuel.
Comment ne pas remercier chacun de nos clients, chacune de nos familles, chacun de nos prestataires d’avoir tout au long de ces années accompagné Anubis dans cette aventure exceptionnelle.
Nous aurons tout au long de cette année l’occasion de revenir plus en détail sur les étapes importantes de ce qui a fait Anubis. En attendant, à chacun d’entre vous, soyez remerciés très chaleureusement pour avoir donné un sens à une activité peu connue, parfois peu reconnue, mais au combien utile dans ces moments-là.

Anubis was founded in July of 1995 in a Parisian suburb.
Why the suburb? The location was not important since the activity had to be managed virtually.
Why Anubis? The name Anubis was chosen after the ancient Egyptian god of the dead, who was also tasked with transporting the souls of the deceased to the afterlife.
Why funeral assistance? To help families affected by the death of a loved one far from home; in France or abroad
Why repatriation of the body? To guarantee specific logistics no matter the place of death nor destination
Today, after 25 years, Anubis is present and represented in many countries around the world. Represented by 50 employees from 15 countries worldwide, Anubis has provided thousands of services for thousands of unique cases, each with their particularities, and provided permanent support for clients of all nationalities, faiths, and backgrounds. We are proud of our journey along the road we have created from scratch, built upon the hard work of each employee past and present. We thank each of our customers, each of our families, each of our service providers for accompanying Anubis throughout their years along this exceptional adventure.
Throughout this year, we will have the opportunity to more closely reflect on and celebrate the important people and events that have made Anubis what it is today. In the meantime, we would like to thank every one of you from the bottom of our hearts for having given meaning to a little known and oft not well – recognized activity that has nevertheless touched the hearts of thousands of families.
